Bio

♪ Amanda to strangers, but Mands to everyone-else. I'm 20 and originally from Sydney's western suburbs although I'm studying in the Blue Mountains and through Hospitality, it's taken me to some wonderful far-away places such as Cairns and Darwin. I'm in the home stretch of my Bachelor of Commerce and although have many aspirations and dreams, can't really decide which one I'll pursue at the end of this year.

♪ People call me random, in the way that I blurt things out as I think of them. Photos are my friends, especially of feet and drawings in the sand (although I really have a thing about not liking feet at all). I prefer to pull stupid faces rather than smile in photos. My car is pretty crappy, though I love her (VOLTA) whole heartedly. My belief is if you love your car, they will love you. I'm a fan of vodka, and probably drink too much of it too often, but you only live and are young once... plus all these night club places have dance floors, and unless I have vodka in my system, I don't do dancing. I get scared easy. I strive on attention (or is that the vodka?). Boys make me smile. I'm a very tactile person, and love affection. Hugs make my world go round!

♪ Music is important. Influenced by my 51 year old Australian Music Junkie father, I listen to a selection of tunes which float around me and in my head twenty-four-seven. My all time favourite band would probably be Grinspoon though my favourite band will change daily. Music says things for me that I'm too shit scared to say, or I couldn't possibly put into words if I tried. I've been playing guitar since year 10, learning classical for my HSC and pottering around afterwards with my three beautiful acoustic guitars. <3

♪ I hoard things. My room at my parents house is exactly how it was when I moved out after high school. Ducks have been a love of mine, and they are everywhere (hence the devil duckies <3). Have newly been named the cookie monster as I lived in my bright orange (!!) cookie monster pj's @ college this year. I also talk a lot of crap and don't make much sense :D Photos, street signs, signatures, lyrics and random things ripped off telegraph poles line my walls. I love it, and should throw most of it out, but can't seem to part with it....
